6th Taima no Sato Botan Festival Photo Contest

Every spring, the “Taima no Sato Botan Festival” adorns Katsuragi City. We’re hosting a photo contest featuring images taken at Taima Dera Temple and Sekko-ji Temple, where the beautiful peony flowers bloom in abundance.

Theme

Botan and Shakuyaku Flowers (Peony)

The submitted photos must be taken at ‘Taima Dera Temple’ or ‘Sekko-ji Temple’ during the “Taima no Sato Botan Festival” period (April 13th to May 6th, 2024) and include peony and/or shakuyaku flowers. Only unpublished works are eligible.

Application Period

April 13th, 2024 (Saturday) – May 20th, 2024 (Monday)

Prizes

• Grand Prize: 1 winner, Prize equivalent to ¥20,000
• Excellent Prize: 2 winners, Prize equivalent to ¥10,000 each
• Special Prize: 4 winners, Prize equivalent to ¥5,000 each
