11th Candle Night Gathering 2024

Katsuragi City is committed to creating an environmentally friendly city by aiming for a “recycling-oriented society.”
As part of this effort, we will host the Candle Night Gathering for one night only, using approximately 4,000 candles made from used cooking oil.
Instead of electric lights, the soft glow of candles will create a soothing atmosphere.
Enjoy a slow and relaxing evening with friends and family.
The fuel used for the illuminations is also made from recycled cooking oil, known as BDF (Biodiesel Fuel).

Parking is expected to be limited on the day of the event.
Due to limited parking spaces, please use public transportation if possible.
To maintain an “environmentally friendly” event, there will be no trash bins in the park. We kindly ask for your cooperation in taking your trash home with you.
