La grande route Takenouchi Kaidō/Yoko Ōji a été bâti en l'an 613 afin de relier Asuka no Miya à la zone portuaire de Naniwatsu. Il s'agit de la plus ancienne route nationale. Elle s'organise en un ensemble routier. D'abord en partant droit au Sud de Naniwatsu avec la Naniwatsu Taidō, elle descend d'abord droit au sud du port de Naniwa.

Situé à l'est de l'étang Ōike du district de Shinzaike, ce monument est dédié à la mémoire du seigneur féodal Honda Masakatsu de la période Edo, et a été édifié en 1674 par de proches vassaux et des fermiers locaux. De nos jours, les gens y prient également pour une mort paisible.

C’est le tombeau de l’impératrice Iitoyo. Cette dernière a pris ses fonctions à la fin du Ve siècle. On raconte que les affaires politiques se déroulaient au sanctuaire de Tsunosashi, d’après le « Kojiki » (le plus ancien livre historique du Japon) et le « Nihon Shoki » (achevé au VIIIe siècle).

Il s’agit d’une tour à cinq étages qui aurait été la tombe de Taima-no-Kehaya, connu pour être le fondateur du sumo. À l’époque de l’empereur Suinin (vers le Ier siècle), Nomi no Sukune et Taima-no-Kehaya se mesurèrent l’un à l’autre. On raconte que ce fut la première lutte de sumo au Japon.

Le prince Otsu est le troisième prince héritier de l’empereur Tenmu. Il se rend toutefois coupable de rébellion à l’âge de 24 ans en raison d’une nature trop courageuse et intelligente (VIIe siècle). Le poème du Manyoshu écrit par sa sœur, la princesse Oku, est célèbre. Dans celui-ci, elle se lamente de la mort du prince, et écrit : « Je suis une personne déprimée et je vois le mont de Futakami comme mon jeune frère de demain ».

Il s’agit d’un groupe de 34 tumulus centrés sur le mont Kitora du côté nord du village de Takeuchi, dont l’un est en forme de clef et l’autre de type sommet à plat. La plupart d’entre eux sont des tumulus circulaires d’un diamètre de 10 m et d’une hauteur d’environ 2 m. On estime qu’ils ont été construits de la fin du Ve siècle jusqu’au milieu du VIe siècle. Ce site est répertorié comme site historique préfectoral.

Le nom officiel est le sanctuaire dit « Kazuragikinoshidoriniimasuamenohazuchinomikoto ». On y vénère Amano Hazuchi no Mikoto. Il était l’ancêtre du clan Shidori, groupe spécialisé dans le tissage de textiles (nommé de même « Shidori » ).

l s’agit d’un tumulus funéraire en forme de clef construit en pente, à l’est du pied de la chaîne de montagnes de Katsuragi. Le tertre s’étend sur une longueur totale de 60 mètres et une hauteur de 10 mètres. Ses chambres en pierre sont en forme de tunnel dans les parties en surplomb, avant et arrière. Il est extrêmement rare d’avoir trois chambres horizontales faites en pierre en forme de tunnel.

C’est une voie de 26 kilomètres. En se dirigeant vers l’est depuis la ville de Sakai (préfecture d’Osaka) et en passant le col de Takeuchi et le pied du mont Nijo au Sud, elle conduit aux environs du sanctuaire de Nagao.
