Important Information

No prior registration is required for this event.

Please Note:

To enter the U.S. Navy Yokosuka Base, you must bring proof of nationality and a valid photo ID. Driver’s licenses alone will not be accepted for entry. If you do not bring the required identification, you will not be allowed to enter the base.

Additionally, for those who are neither Japanese nor American nationals, entry may be denied based on the nationality verification process conducted by the U.S. Navy Yokosuka Base. Please be aware of this in advance.

No registration required for DOD ID cardholders.
For local attendees, please visit event’s special website (Japanese only) for more information.

For Non-Japanese Nationality Guests:

Non-Japanese nationals must present a valid passport (with a valid landing permission stamp) or a resident card/special permanent residence certificate (both visa and expiration date must be valid).

Please note that after verifying your identification, non-Japanese and non-American nationals may still be denied entry due to U.S. Forces regulations.

About the Ship Tours

Please note that your photo ID will be checked again before boarding the ship. Make sure to bring a valid photo ID to participate in the ship tour.

In previous years, there have been long lines for the ship tours, and boarding may take some time. Additionally, due to crowd levels, registration for the tours often ends around 1:00 PM.

The names of the ships available for the tour will not be announced until just before the event. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the ship names in advance. The ship names will be announced on the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the U.S. Navy Yokosuka Base. Be sure to follow their account and stay tuned for updates!
