Kurihama Flower Park Poppy & Nemophila Festival 2024

Every year, as spring arrives, Kurihama Flower Park (くりはま花の国) bursts into vibrant colors with the Poppy & Nemophila Festival. This year, the festival runs from April 6th to May 26th, promising a spectacular display of nature’s beauty.

Experience the Beauty of Nature at Kurihama Flower Park Poppy & Nemophila Festival!

At the heart of the park lies the Poppy Garden, boasting approximately one million poppies including the charming Shirley Poppies. These poppies bloom in a relay of colors, creating a stunning carpet of flowers. Meanwhile, up in the sky-high flower fields near the mountaintop, the delicate blue blossoms of Nemophila paint the landscape in serene hues.

A highlight of the festival is the free flower-picking event held on May 25th and 26th in the Poppy Garden. Equipped with scissors, visitors can pick their favorite blooms and take them home as a memento of the festival.

But the beauty of the festival doesn’t end with the flowers. Throughout the festival period, there are various exciting events to enjoy.
