Mynavi Japan Cup Yokosuka 2024: BMX Freestyle Official Competition

From Keikyu Main Line “Kenritsu Daigaku Station” – approximately 15 minutes on foot.

From Keikyu Main Line “Yokosuka Chuo Station” – about 5 minutes by taxi or an 18-minute walk.

From JR Yokosuka Line “Yokosuka Station” – about 8 minutes by taxi.

Admission is free!
In addition to the BMX competitions, the event will feature a BMX trial experience, merchandise sales, and food trucks (available only on Saturday and Sunday). For further details, please visit the event’s official website.

BMX Freestyle

BMX, short for Bicycle Motocross, originated in the U.S. during the 1970s. This event will showcase two thrilling BMX freestyle disciplines:

BMX Freestyle Park Riders perform aerial tricks on multiple ramps in a specially designed “park” arena. Each rider gets two 1-minute runs (45 seconds for the challenge level), judged on difficulty, execution, and creativity.

September 29 (Sun): Finals

BMX Freestyle Flatland Riders showcase balance and creativity on flat ground by spinning on one wheel and chaining together tricks in a fluid routine. Each performance lasts 3 minutes (2.5 minutes for women, 2 minutes for challenge level).
