A field of about one million cosmos flowers can be seen until the end of October in Kurihama Flower Park (Kurihama Hananokuni), in Yokosuka City

The gently sloping hillside of Kurihama Flower Park (Kurihama Hananokuni) is unique with about one million cosmos flowers spread all over the landscape. Different varieties of cosmos bloom one after another throughout the year, ensuring enjoyment to visitors over a prolonged period.

Around one million cosmos flowers are currently in full bloom in the “Cosmos Garden” . The garden is carefully managed to ensure that the different varieties bloom one after the other, so visitors can expect to enjoy them until the end of October.

Admission is free of charge. It is also open 24 hours a day, allowing visitors to avoid early morning crowds.

Kurihama Hananokuni Cosmos Garden

Area: approx. 18,000 ㎡ (1.8 ha)

With about one million plants, this is one of the largest flower gardens in the Miura Peninsula.

The first car park offers convenient access to the garden.

*By train

15-minute walk from the JR Kurihama Station or the Keikyu Kurihama Station on the Keihin Kyuko Line.

*By car

When using the Yokohama Yokosuka Road, about 4km from Sahara interchange.

If coming by car, use the car park nearest to your destination:

Car Park 1: Poppy Garden, Adventure land (including the Godzilla slide and bouldering)

Car Park 2: Herb Garden, Kids Garden, Restaurant Rossmarines.

The Archery and air rifle range each have separate parking areas.
