On the 120th Anniversary of His Birth: Salvador Dalí – Secrets to His Genius

In commemoration of the 120th anniversary of Salvador Dalí’s birth, the Yokosuka Museum of Art is hosting a special exhibition titled “On the 120th Anniversary of His Birth: Salvador Dalí – Secrets to His Genius.”

This exhibition offers an extensive overview of Dalí’s life and work, focusing particularly on his activities after moving to the United States. Featuring approximately 120 pieces—including oil paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures—the exhibition also showcases works by other Surrealist artists such as Joan Miró and René Magritte. The collection is primarily drawn from the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art, renowned for its exceptional Dalí collection.

Admission Fees (including tax)

  • General Admission: ¥1,400 (¥1,120 for groups of 20 or more)
  • High School and University Students, Seniors (65+): ¥1,200 (¥960 for groups)
  • Middle School Students and Younger: Free

Admission includes access to the museum’s permanent collection and the Rokuro Taniuchi Hall. High school students residing or attending school in Yokosuka are granted free admission.
