Yokosuka Photo Contest 2024

The Yokosuka Photo Contest 2024 invites photography enthusiasts to capture and share the beauty and charm of Yokosuka. Organized in collaboration with the Tokyo Camera Club, the contest has three categories: “My Favorite Yokosuka,” “Yokosuka Route Museum Satellite Spots,” and “Yokosuka by Night.”

Participants can submit their photos via Instagram by following the official accounts and using the designated hashtags within the submission period from August 1 to November 6, 2024. Prizes include a Nikon mirrorless camera, Skajan jacket, pair tickets for Yokosuka harbor tours, and more.

Capture the vibrant nightlife and evening scenery of Yokosuka.

How to Enter

1. Follow the Instagram accounts yokosuka.travel and Tokyo Camera Club Campaign.

2. Post your photos on Instagram with the specified hashtags for each category during the contest period.

3. We will contact shortlisted candidates via Instagram Direct Message.

Eligibility

Open to all, regardless of age or nationality.

Submission Period

August 1, 2024 – October 31, 2024.

How to Submit

Upload your photos through the contest’s official submission form. Each participant may submit up to 5 photos per category.

File Requirements

JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. The file size should not exceed 10 MB.

Judging Criteria

Photos will be judged based on creativity, composition, and how well they capture the essence of Yokosuka.

Additional Information

All submitted photos may be used for promotional purposes by Yokosuka City and Tokyo Camera Club. The contest is open to residents of Japan, and there is no restriction on the type of photography equipment used.

Otsu Tourism Photo Contest 2024

The Otsu Tourism Association is holding a photo contest “Otsu Tourism Photo Contest 2024”, featuring the beautiful landscapes, delicious food, historic sites, and everyday life of the Otsu area (Ikeda-cho, Otsu-cho, Sakuragaoka, Negishi-cho, Hashirimizu, Maborikaigan, and Mabori-cho).
