On April 20, 2024, the "Minoh Takimichi One-Way Sightseeing Shuttle Bus," began operating between Hankyu Minoh Station, Takimichi, Minoh Waterfall, and Katsuo-ji Temple.
Just a 30-minute train ride from Osaka city center, you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Meiji no Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park, which includes the Minoh Waterfall.

The Minoh Quasi-National Park is home to many popular tourist attractions, including Minoh Waterfall, the only waterfall in Osaka Prefecture to be named one of "Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls", the 1,300-year-old Katsuo-ji Temple, Ryuanji Temple, Saikouji Temple, Minoh Park Insect Museum, and the lively Takimichi street lined with souvenir shops.

By taking the sightseeing bus, you can efficiently explore Minoh's popular tourist spots without needing a car and enjoy a stroll along "Takimichi," where shops and restaurants selling local specialties such as Minoh beer are lined up.

The one-day pass includes coupons (worth ¥400) that can be used at shops along Takimichi and Katsuo-ji Temple, making it a great deal.

*Bus tickets are sold on board. Please purchase your ticket when boarding for the first time.
*Tickets cannot be purchased on the 7:45 PM and 8:40 PM buses departing from Katsuo-ji Temple.
*Please note that if you board from "Hankyu Minoh Station" to "Katsuo-ji Temple," you will pass through "Minoh Waterfall (Ohtaki-ue Paid Parking)," so the fare will be for 2 sections (¥1,400).

The one-day unlimited ride ticket for adults includes a set of ¥400 worth of coupon tickets that can be used at shops along Takimichi, around Minoh Station, and at Katsuo-ji Temple.

When presenting the one-day ride ticket at the entrance of Katsuo-ji Temple, you'll receive a ¥100 discount on the entrance fee.

Recommended Plan (1)
Use a one-day pass to take the bus from Hankyu Minoh Station directly to Katsuo-ji Temple.

On the way back, get off at Minoh Waterfall (Ohtaki-ue Paid Parking), then walk down the Takimichi, visiting Ryuanji Temple and Saikouji Temple.

Recommended Plan (2)
Take the Hankyu bus from Minoh-Kayano Station to Katsuo-ji Temple.
From Katsuo-ji Temple, hop on the "Minoh Takimichi One-Way Sightseeing Shuttle Bus" to Minoh Waterfall (Ohtaki-ue Paid Parking).

Walk down the Takimichi, visiting Ryuanji Temple and Saikouji Temple, then head to Hankyu Minoh Station.
Afterward, take the Hankyu bus back to Minoh-Kayano Station.



(1) Katsuo-ji Temple


Known as the "Temple of Victory" or the "Temple of Winning Daruma," this prestigious temple in Kansai is overflowing with numerous visitors praying for the luck of victory from all over Japan.

With its vast expanse of approximately 26.446 hectares, this site is renowned for its cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, and maple trees, offering a breathtaking spectacle in every season.

You can't miss the dynamic scenery, selected as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls.

Legend has it that 'En no Gyoja (Founder of the Shugendo)' encountered a dragon god during his training.

The oldest Benzaiten in Japan, enshrined in the temple's main hall where the lottery originated, is worshipped as the god of talents and wealth.
