Kuwayama-jinja Shrine
It is said that the shrine was founded in 709.
The shrine has two main pavilions, Kuwayama-gu and Hachiman-gu (cultural properties registered by Kyoto Prefecture), and enshrines Onamuchi no kami (Okuninushi no mikoto) and Homutawake no mikoto (Emperor Ojin).
In autumn, when the leaves change color, the main pavilions and the precinct are surrounded by a blazing red color, and a solemn atmosphere permeates the entire shrine.
During the period, the shrine is lit up at night.
