Fukuzawa Momosuke Memorial Museum
The building was originally built in 1919 as a resort villa of Fukuzawa Momosuke, an electricity magnate who pioneered the power development in the Kiso River.
The building barely avoided the mudslide disaster that occurred on July 20, 1953, in Isekoyazawa.
However, the building lost its second floor due to a fire on April 6, 1960.
The second floor was restored to its original state in 1997.
