A Riverside Watermill House Reflecting Japan’s Traditional Landscape

The Fumoto River once featured numerous watermills used for rice polishing, flour milling, and other activities. However, these watermills disappeared with the spread of electricity. In an effort to restore this nostalgic scene, local residents revived the watermill house in this park.
The park has three waterwheels, and visitors can tour inside the millhouse. Additionally, walking paths have been developed, allowing visitors to enjoy the surrounding natural environment.
