Pile Fabric Museum
As a memorial for the 110 years since the birth of pile fabric, the museum was opened in October 1986 to inform many people about the history and current situation of pile fabric around Koyaguchi.
The building was erected between the Taisei and Showa eras, and you can get a general feel for pieces of its past.
On display inside of the museum is the pile fabric, the operation process of "Saiori" (Chenille), and the Saori of His Majesty the Emperor, so you can see how wonderful pile fabric is.
