Showa Kinen Park
The Showa Kinen Park was built on a site formerly used by the US military as Tachikawa Air Base. The park has an area of 180 ha, making it one of the largest nationally-run parks in Tokyo.
The park is divided into five zones with plenty of recreation-purpose space making use of the rich, natural environment in which flowers bloom in each season.
There is also an exhibition facility, a pool, and a cycling course.
Many and various events are held throughout the year.
