Sakurayama Park
Enjoy the 7,000 protected winter cherry blossoms at this nationally designated scenic location together with the fall colors.
The best time to see the winter cherry blossoms is from mid November to mid December.
These winter cherry blossoms are a rare species that have a "second blooming" where they bloom again in April.
In spring, they combine with the Yoshino cherry blossoms to feature 10,000 cherry blossoms in full bloom, allowing you to view the cherry blossoms blooming twice in one year.
You can also walk around inside the park on the Nordic Walk Tour (accompanied by a tour guide), and in addition to cherry blossoms, flowers are planted in each season, giving you the chance to enjoy it all year round.
