World Heritage Site: Silk Work Related Industrial Heritage Takayamasha Remains
The remains of Takayamasha spans from the Meiji era to the Taisho era, where it was founded as the "Takayama Sericulture Improvement Association" to guide silkworm farmers all over Japan in how to raise silkworms. This is also the location where the founder Takayama Chogoro established the silkworm breeding method "Seion-iku."
