Sanbaseki Gorge
Sanbaseki Gorge, located immediately downstream from Shimokubo Dam, spans roughly 1.5 km with crags and unusually shaped rocks made from sanba stone, creating a beautiful landscape together with the greenery and fall colors of the trees.
It has been designated a national scenic location and a national monument, and it features 48 uniquely shaped rocks that have a variety of names attached to them.
