The Shiki Museum

A museum themed on Shiki Masaoka, famous for the haiku "biting into a persimmon / a bell resounds / Hōryū-ji."
The museum displays a wide range of materials, including Shiki's handwritten manuscripts, as well as a variety of video and interactive exhibits.
There is a recreation of the Gudabutsuan (just the 1st floor), which Natsume Soseki lived with for 52 days.
You can enter the retreat to take a photograph.
The museum shop sells items related to Shiki and haiku.
