Oshi Castle
Situated in the center of the city, Oshi Castle was constructed in the Bunmei years of the Muromachi period and it is known as the "floating castle" that withstood Mitsunari Ishida's inundation tactics when Hideyoshi Toyotomi subjugated the Kanto region.
One of the seven famous castles of the Kanto region, Oshi Castle became the symbol of the castle town of the Oshi clan (100,000 koku).
