Hokyozan
Hokyozan is a 461-meter-high mountain located in the northeastern part of Tsukuba City.
To the east, you can see in the distance Kasumigaura, the second largest lake in Japan, and the Pacific Ocean (Kashima Sea).
On clear days, you will be able to see Mt. Fuji, Mt. Tsukuba to the north, and Mt. Haruna, Mt. Akagi, and the Nikko mountain range beyond.
There are also six mountain climbing courses, each with its own unique scenery and plants to enjoy.
