Meguro Sky Garden
The oval shaped Meguro Sky Garden is constructed on a sloping roof covering the intersection of two major expressways: the elevated Route 3 Shibuya radial route and the Central Circular Route.
On opening in 2013, it won awards including from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and from Good Design, and has been widely covered by newspapers and TV.
The 400m long garden part is shaped like a doughnut when viewed from above,
On the inside, is a huge walled area called Opus Yume Hiroba.
At night from the neighbouring Cross Air Tower you can see the Tokyo Tower and Roppongi Hills and on a clear day, you can see Mount Fuji from the garden.
