Sakushima Island
Set in the near-center of Mikawa Bay you'll find Sakushima Island, the art and serenity island known as the largest of Aichi Prefecture's 3 inhabited islands.
Over 80% of the island is woodland, featuring lush nature and the charming, black-walled village townscape nicknamed the "Black Pearl of Mikawa Bay".
