Minoh Kawayuka
From April to October, you can enjoy a luxurious feast by the river bank known as Minoh Kawayuka.
It's a Minoh tradition with a long history behind it.
From the Meiji period to the early Showa period, rest areas and tea houses were built along the Minoh River, attracting lots of people to the area.
However, they were washed away by repeated floods and eventually disappeared.
Many people wanted to revive the tradition of Kawayuka, and with the relaxation of laws and regulations, it was successfully restored in 2010.
Surrounded by fresh green maple trees and listening to the murmuring of the stream, you can enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients during the Minoh Kawayuka.
