Introducing the History of Minoh in an Easy-to-Understand Way
The Local History Museum offers exhibits based on three main themes: "History," "Discovery," and "Life." The museum also provides a relaxing space for families to enjoy.
【Exhibit Room (1)】"Walking Through History"introduces the history of Minoh from the Paleolithic period to the present. A large 7-meter-wide screen features a wide theater that uses sound and visuals to make the history more engaging and easier to understand.
【Exhibit Room (2)】"Exciting Discoveries" presents people and events related to Minoh through interactive exhibits. Life-sized panels and historical materials are displayed, with each section focusing on people and events that shaped Minoh.
【Exhibit Room (3)】"Understanding Life"focuses on the development of Minoh City and the characteristics of each area. The "Minoh Table" features a table shaped like the city’s terrain, with plates highlighting major spots to illustrate the unique traits of each region.
Additionally, between Exhibit Room (3) and the special exhibit space, the museum showcases the latest display technology using transparent LCD screens. This exhibit details the history of the development of Hankyu Minoh Station. Along the walls of Exhibit Rooms (1) through (3), paper craft models depict events from modern Minoh history, including the opening of Hankyu Minoh Station.
