Nakaminato Reverberatory Furnace Ruin
At the end of the Edo period, Nariaki Tokugawa, the ninth lord of the Mito domain, strongly advocated the need for national defense, and built the cannon foundry under the Mito domain in 1857.
The site is designated as a prefectural historic site.
