Ninomiya Seseragi Park
The park’s location is surrounded by a wealth of nature, and visitors can enjoy their time here strolling the wooden walkway while taking in the sights of Japanese irises, hydrangeas, and other flowers (around early June to mid-July).
This has earned the park a spot on the list of 100 best flower sightseeing locations in Kanagawa.
Adding to that, the park is home to a “Firefly Viewing Party” that typically takes place around the end of May each year.
This offers visitors the chance to enjoy the clean waters of Seseragi Park and admire the wondrous sight of naturally glowing Genji fireflies dancing along the park grounds.
The natural setting here is home to these fireflies.
