Tracing a history that spans 1200 years

Ever since it was designated as a national historic site in 1970, Enichi-ji Temple has been dedicated to protecting and preserving the birthplace of Aizu Buddhist culture. The museum, established in 1987, aims to prevent, preserve, display, and utilize the dispersal and destruction of Enichi-ji Temple-related cultural properties.
It offers visitors the opportunity to explore the 1200-year history of Enichi-ji Temple and also features excavation materials from the historic site.
