The Michinoeki (Roadside Station) "Nakayamabonchi," located along Prefectural Route 36, showcases the charm of Takayama Village with local vegetables and information about attractions in the area.
The station also features a hot spring facility where you can enjoy the majestic Sanami Mountains and rural landscapes during the day and gaze at a star-filled sky at night.
The premises include a cypress foot bath and accommodation cottages, allowing you to stay leisurely and fully experience Takayama Village.
Additionally, there is "Tanbo Art," which presents various designs each year to entertain visitors, and a Farmer's market area for fresh seasonal produce throughout the year.

The Farmer's market area offers fresh vegetables, sweet summer vegetables, fruits, delicious rice, and handmade local products by locals.
On the eastern side of the facility is the "Takayama Fureai Park," a green space of about 1.5 hectares, equipped with a playground for toddlers, large playgrounds for children, and health equipment.

The premises feature the "Takayama Onsen Fureai Plaza," a stone-built hot spring facility reminiscent of a European castle. During the day, you can enjoy the grand mountain range, and at night, relax in the open-air bath with a view of the starry sky. Adjacent to the facility are cottages for accommodation, and guests staying there can access the Fureai Plaza free of charge, fully enjoying the hot springs.
