A Cozy Day-Use Hot Spring Facility

Takayama Onsen “Ibuki no Yu” is a day-use hot spring facility characterized by its calm, traditional Japanese architecture. The source of the hot spring is a chloride-rich spring at a temperature of 64°C. This spring is diluted to provide a "slightly hot" bath at 43.5°C. The sound of birds and the homely atmosphere create a soothing environment.

The facility features separate men’s and women’s large baths, with wooden walls and stone bathtubs and floors. The bath area is designed with a single tub that accommodates about ten people. The clear, colorless water is diluted and circulated. From the large windows, you can enjoy the view of a small garden surrounded by bamboo fencing, enhancing your relaxation. The water temperature is comfortably warm, making it perfect for a leisurely soak.
In front of the entrance, there is a traditional drinking fountain where you can sample the mineral water. Drinking the water after your bath warms you from the inside out. Surrounding the facility are fields where poppies, canola flowers, and sunflowers are cultivated, so consider taking a stroll after enjoying the hot spring.
