The exhibits and the venue are both amazing

The permanent exhibition features the work of three artists: woodblock printmaker Shiko Munakata, who relocated to the Fukumitsu region of Nanto during WWII; Nihonga painter Koyo Ishizaki; and sculptor Hidetaro Matsumura.
The museum also hosts a range of special exhibitions, showcasing the work of artists with some connection to Nanto.
Located in a quiet forest, Fukumitsu Art Museum is surrounded by sculpture gardens and ponds, and if you're lucky, you might encounter an animal like a wild bird or serow.
The rich nature and art here promises to heal the heart of any visitor.
