A historical neighborhood known as the "Little Kyoto of Hokuriku

Over 400 years ago, Nagachika Kanamori, a vassal of Oda Nobunaga, designed the town in a grid pattern.
The eastern edge of the town was designated as Teramachi (Temple Town), where temples were concentrated.
With 16 temples representing nine different sects, the traditional townscape has become a symbol of the castle town and a place of comfort for the residents.
