Collecting, preserving, and displaying the history of Ono City

Since its opening in 1986, the Ono History Museum has been dedicated to collecting, preserving, and displaying artifacts that reflect the rich history and folklore of Ono City, spanning from the Jomon period to modern times.
The museum’s notable collection includes materials related to the governance of Doi Toshitada, the 7th lord of the Doi clan, who was celebrated as a wise leader during the late Edo period.
