A residence registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property

The Old Uchiyama House is a carefully restored residence that once belonged to the Uchiyama clan.
It honors Uchiyama Shichirouemon Ryokyuu, a chief retainer who played a crucial role in revitalizing the Ono domain's finances during the late Edo period, and his younger brother, Ryusuke Yoshitaka.
The house is a Designated National Tangible Cultural Property.
Visitors can enjoy the refreshing summer shoji screens from spring to autumn and adorable decorative ones in winter.
