Eel, fishing, and a variety of activities

Located at the Imagireguchi (今切口) where Lake Hamana (浜名湖) and the Pacific Ocean connect, this facility offers a range of activities such as educational experiences related to the lake, barbecues, and bike rentals.
Adjacent to the Arai Benten Umizuri Park (新居弁天海釣公園), a popular fishing spot throughout the year, visitors can enjoy fishing for various species including black sea bream, sea bass, horse mackerel, sea bass, flatfish, and sand lance.

Seasonal activities are also a highlight. In the summer, you can participate in the eel-catching and grilling experience, where you catch eels released into a pond on the premises and grill them yourself.
Lake Hamana is known as the birthplace of eel farming with a history of over 100 years. Catching eels and grilling them with a special sauce is a unique experience available only here.
In winter, an oyster hut opens, offering "Puri Maru" (プリ丸) oysters, a local brand from Arai Town (新居町) in Kosai City (湖西市). These oysters, carefully cultivated in the nutrient-rich waters of Lake Hamana, are large, thick, and known for their strong flavor.
