The Yokoze Town Historical Folk Museum is a valuable facility that conveys the rich history and culture of Yokoze Town to the present day.
Opened in 1982, this museum offers a wide range of exhibits that provide deep insight into the town's history and culture. These include materials related to Mount Bukō, folk materials such as stage models of puppet shows and farming tools, historical documents and photographs, and precious fossil specimens unearthed from the Negoroya Limestone Cave.
Highlights include the palace model of Bukōsan Mitake Shrine and the valuable fossil specimens dating back 130,000 years.
